Dothan Police are investigating an apparent hit-and-run that seriously injured a woman early Friday morning.
Police say at about 4 AM, a 25-year-old woman was found lying next to the road on the 2500 block of West Main Street.
The woman was suffering from significant injuries to her head and hip.
She was taken to Flower's Hospital and then transferred to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
The Dothan Police are asking anyone who saw a woman walking along West Main Street between 2 AM and 4 AM Friday to call them at 615-3000
