Children and Dozens of Animals Taken from Excrement Filled Home

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - Three children, 30 cats, six dogs, two skunks, a turtle, a frog and a guinea pig were taken from the feces-and-urine-filled home of a Panama City woman.

Authorities say Cheryl Ann Kinzig could face criminal charges if
her children's illnesses are connected to the home's condition.

The children are in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families. Bay County Animal Control took the animals.

Officials with the county's hazardous materials division ordered the home evacuated.
