An eight month investigation into a fatal Covington County shooting appears to be over.
The grand jury that convened in Andalusia did "not" file an indictment in the Aaron Shaw case from last October.
Mr. Shaw was reportedly in police custody when he was fatally shot outside a Florala apartment complex.
Since Mr. Shaw was black, African American residents have raised questions about his death.
Earlier this year, the Alabama Bureau of Investigations turned over its findings to the Covington County District Attorney's Office.
Those findings went before the grand jury which did not file an indictment in the case.
News 4 was unable to contact the district attorney for Covington County.
