The life of one Enterprise man suddenly came to an end when the helicopter he was flying crashed in Eufaula Thursday.
Michael Lee of Enterprise was killed, while 2-other men on board were left critically injured.
News 4's Tonya Deer spoke with members of the lee family this weekend and tells us Michael lived and died sharing his passion of flying with others:
Michael Lee is described by his family and friends as a spiritual, giving person, with a great sense of humor. A man who was passionate about flying and that love would eventually take his life in the end.
He leaves behind two grown children. Michael’s son, Jonathan, followed in dad's footsteps by sharing the same love of being in the air.
Mike was a civilian instructor pilot employed with a contractor at Fort Rucker. He was taking two other students up on a flight training mission when the accident occurred.
Army investigators are still trying to determine why the helicopter crashed.
