Post-Holiday Sales

Retailers are hoping to see green on the day-after-Christmas.

Holiday sales were the weakest in 30-years nationwide. That's partly because the shopping season between Thanksgiving and Christmas was shorter than normal.

But there's still a chance for stores to catch up on some of those missed sales.

Experts say the trick for merchants is to use after-Christmas sales to lure some of the people returning gifts Thursday to do just a little more shopping.
