There is an update on the two surviving crewmembers involved in the helicopter accident that happened on June 23rd in the Wiregrass.
One of the crewmembers is in serious but stable condition and the flight surgeon says he will make a full recovery. The other pilot is stable and should be released from the hospital within the next 24 hours.
The TH-67 Creek helicopter was on a training mission when it went down in a Eufaula peanut field Thursday morning. 58-year-old Michael Lee of Enterprise was killed in the accident. Army officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
