A murder suspect wanted in Okaloosa County is now in the custody of Tennessee authorities.
Ben Lee Metcalf was arrested around 8 o'clock Wednesday night for burglary, public intoxication and prossession of drug paraphernalia. Florida authorities issued a warrant on Metcalf for the murder of Lannie Wells Jones, Sr. Jones' body was found in a former retail business in Destin on May 11th.
Metcalf is currently in Knoxville in the custody of the Knox County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division. Two investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Investigations Division are en route to Knoxville for the extradition of Metcalf.
