Cuts would involve school personnel and not programs according to Dr. Sam Nichols who has met with every principal in the district.
“See what their needs are going to be for 2009 and see if they can reduce that at the school and cuts will be made through attrition. We will not have a reduction in force," said Nichols/
Governor Bob Riley has suggested a three percent cut to Alabama K-12 schools.
That number is better than what was predicted a month ago.
