Landmark Park Funding

Landmark Park is in need of operational funds, or some of their employees might find themselves out of work.

In December the city gave the park $34,000. On June 21st, park representatives came to the Dothan City Commission to request another $16,000. However, the city says before it gives any more money to Landmark Park - which has recently received nearly $150,000 in grants for repairs - they have to devise a plan on how the park can stabilize itself financially. The city is giving Landmark Park one week to get the information together before they make a decision.

Landmark Park has seen a slight increase in their annual membership fundraiser, with $20,000 raised.
