Ozark police have cleaned up a big section of their town with the help of the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Wiregrass Violent Crime/Drug Task Force.
The undercover drug round up landed more than two dozen suspects behind bars.
Ozark Police Chief Tony Spivey said Operation Clean Streets was launched in September in response to citizen complaints. The operation led to the arrests of 30 adults and three juveniles.
Spivey said some suspects are being held without bond because of their criminal histories. All of the cases will go before a Dale County Grand Jury.
Spivey said Operation Clean Streets marks Ozark's largest drug round up in more than a decade.
