Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing in Geneva County.
43-year-old Louis Wayne Yeomans has been released from the Geneva County Jail after being charged with felony assault.
Authorities say he stabbed Billy Bolden on New Hope Road in the Bellwood Community.
On the night of May 30th, Bolden told authorities that he lost control of his pick-up truck after someone had fired a shot at him.
He claims that Yeomans pulled him out of the truck and stabbed him. It resulted in a 10-inch gash across Bolden’s chest.
The 27-year-old victim was treated and released from a Dothan hospital.
Authorities say the two men had an ongoing dispute, but they don't know what triggered the stabbing.
