Twenty-three-year-old Gregory Lawrence was booked on possession charges after narcotics officers found $1,000 worth of crack cocaine in his Galaxie Drive home.
Officers also seized more than $2,000 in cash.
Drug arrests by the Houston County Sheriff's Department are up nearly 10 percent for this year. But the sheriff said the number of methamphetamine cases is much higher.
Sheriff Glover credits the increase in drug arrests to the dedication of his narcotics officers and increased training for patrol deputies.
