Two brothers in the Panhandle are breathing a sigh of relief after being trapped underneath a mobile home.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene in Holmes County’s Pittman Community just after 10 a.m. Monday.
Max and Joey Yancey were jacking up the mobile home in order to move it.
The home began to sink in the soft clay and the two men were partially crushed underneath.
They were airlifted to Flowers Hospital in Dothan.
Doctors say the brothers’ injuries are not life-threatening.
Local authorities say they believe the heavy rainfall this spring has caused the ground to be more soft than usual.
