Drunk Driving

With alcohol-related traffic deaths on the rise, Mothers Against Drunk Driving has launched its holiday safe driving campaign.

MADD's "Tie One On For Safety" program urges motorists to tie a red ribbon on their vehicle as a pledge to drive safe and sober.

MADD president Wendy Hamilton says holiday traffic fatalities are completely preventable.

According to MADD's statistics, half of last year's New Year's Eve traffic fatalities were alcohol related.

MADD's Web site offers tips for hosting a safe holiday party, and also lists ways you can stay safe on the roads this holiday season.
