Donnell Trial

Thirty-one-year-old Christopher Donnell was already serving a sentence of more than 1,300 years after he was convicted in a series of rapes that occurred in the late 1990s along Napier Field Road.

Wednesday he was charged with burglary.

Police testified, Donnel broke into a woman's home in February 1998 but the intended victim confronted him and he fled.

Juror's deliberated about 20 minutes before finding Donnell guilty.

Judge Larry Anderson handed down a maximum sentence of life in prison.
