Coffee County Water System

Enterprise officials are in the process of purchasing several smaller water systems in Coffee County. They are trying to improve water distribution for both city and rural customers.

Recently, the city of Enterprise agreed to take over Clintonville's water authority. It's taking similar action in Coffee County's Bethany and Goodman communities.

By taking over, Enterprise officials promise to reduce the monthly rates being paid by rural water customers.

The Coffee County Water Authority has announced that work will soon begin on phase one of a federally funded $5 million water project.
