Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to a deadly shooting that happened in Dothan on Sunday morning.
Police arrived at a house on Newton Street around 4 o'clock in the morning and found one man shot in the leg, and 30-year-old Alonza Anthony Nickson, known as Ashley, dead inside the house. Neighbors say the victim was shot twice in the stomach before going in the house and twice in the head.
Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute between Ashley and the killer. They have been working around the clock to solve the case, but they are also asking for help from the public. The suspect in the killing is described as a black male in his mid-20's, 5'7" to 5'9" tall, and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dothan Police Department.
