The SouthTrust Bank located adjacent to the Southside K-Mart parking lot was robbed and a suspect has been arrested.
Police say a white female entered the bank shortly before 11 o'clock and demanded money.
It was not known if she had a weapon.
She escaped in a gray pickup truck with dark tinted windows.
Police believe this robbery may be connected to a bank robbery that occured in Troy last week.
