Despite legislation to stop it, many Florida drivers are seeing higher car insurance rates these days.
For instance, Allstate is raising rates by more than 10 percent statewide. Increases vary according to driving record and where a driver lives.
There have also been rate hikes approved recently for Nationwide and for USAA Insurance.
