A man who confessed that he strangled and stabbed his girlfriend and then chopped up her body and buried the pieces in the woods was convicted of first-degree murder.
Robert Gary Snyder’s attorneys had argued that he killed 35-year-old Pamela Renee Noble in 2003 in self-defense.
Snyder’s attorneys also argued that how he disposed of her body was irrelevant to his guilt.
Snyder’s videotaped confession to police was played for the jury during his three-day trial.
Snyder will be sentenced April 29th to a mandatory life prison.
