Funeral arrangements have been made as Ozark Police continue investigating a weekend homicide.
Officials are trying to make some sense of what happened this weekend and family and friends of the victim are trying to cope with the death of their loved one.
Friday night around 8 o'clock, 21-year-old Adam James allegedly stabbed and killed 37-year-old Larrison Christian at the Wagon Wheel Trailer Park on Highway 123 in Ozark.
According to officials at this time, James and Christian were fighting over a woman who also lived in the trailer park. Since the crime, someone has even vandalized her car. Investigators met Monday at the Dale County District Attorney's office and plan to re-question the suspect.
Christian was killed by a single stab wound to the chest with a hunting knife. He was discovered lying in the middle of the road by a neighbor who called police. This was not the first time the two men had argued.
James was taken into custody only minutes after confessing to the crime. His bond has been set at $100,000. Christian was transported to the Dale Medical Center where he was immediately pronounced dead.
Officials say the motive appears to be domestic-related. However, the case is still under investigation.
Visitation services for Christian will be held tonight at the Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00.
