More than 200 police and volunteers are searching for a 13-year-old girl who disappeared over the weekend from her family's mobile home south of Tampa.
As part of the investigation into the disappearance of Sarah Michelle Lunde (LUN'-dee), authorities have contacted 23 of the 24 registered sex offenders who live in the region.
The remaining one is believed to have left the area before she vanished.
Authorities say they also are continuing to question a known sexual predator who was a friend of Sarah's mother. The man, David Onstott, was arrested in connection with an unrelated incident in Apollo Beach last night.
Sarah has a troubled past and has run away from home before, but her family says she usually returns after a few hours. The sheriff's office says that officials don't believe this is a typical runaway though.
The girl has a bright green half cast on her left arm from a wrist injury.
