Reward For Escapees

Gov. Don Siegelman is offering a $10,000 reward leading to the capture of two escapees, 27-year-old Oscar Roy Doster and 39-year-old Bobby Phillips, from the Covington County Jail.

The sheriff's department have arrested three people and charged them with hindering apprehension. Charged are Jerry Wayne Fowler and Janie Fowler, of Dozier and Sherry Hill Lamb of Red Level.

Authorities believe the two escapees may be linked to the Nov. 6 fatal shooting Paul Lemaster and are also suspects in Sunday's robbery at a Veterans of Foreign Wars hall in Red Level.

Doster and Phillips are considered armed and dangerous.

If you know there whereabouts, you are asked to contact your local law enforcement immediately.
