Pensacola Teens

Nearly a year after Terry King's body was found inside his burning home, his two teenage sons are pleading guilty to his murder.

14-year-old Derek King and his 13-year-old brother Alex King have admitted to third-degree murder and arson charges.

Derek is getting eight years in prison and his brother seven years, each with credit for nearly a year already served. Sentencing guidelines provided for a term of up to 45 years.

The boys have issued new sworn statements, similar to earlier confessions they gave police about the November 26th murder, but
later recanted.

The boys' mother, Kelly Marino, says she will challenge the plea deals.
