A small Henry County town is trying to cope after their water supply was cut off because of flooding.
Folks in this community of 175 people fill up gallons of water to pack in the back of their cars and take to their homes in Wills Crossroads, a Henry County town about five miles East of Abbeville.
Everyone here was dealt a bad hand when a pipe burst and caused them to loose all of their water. The area that houses the pipe that is usually dry is now a temporary creek, thanks to the ruptured pipe.
Since Monday construction crews have been busy trying to fix the problem. Until then, residents will just have to adjust.
