Three airmen from a Georgia Air Force base who allegedly stole bulletproof vests and sold them to drug dealers have been arrested by police.
The vests were taken from Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta and then allegedly sold for 100 dollars each.
A base spokeswoman says she doesn't know how the three men got the vests or how they got them off the base.
An investigation began last week when police arrested a gang member wearing a vest.
So far, 18 of the vests have been recovered and police say more could still be on the streets.
