Fort Rucker Helicopter Down

A pilot is out of the hospital this morning and two others are under observation at this hour after a hard landing of a Fort Rucker helicopter.

The UH-60 Blackhawk was damaged during routine training near a tactical training area in Geneva County.

Three-US Army pilots, an instructor and two students were injured in the accident.

The Army says the helicopter was damaged, but initial estimates are inconclusive.

The military did not specify the nature of the injuries suffered by the crewmembers.

They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
