Panhandle Rough Surf

The Panhandle's sandy white beaches are turning into a nightmare for many Spring Breakers.

Rough surf in the Gulf of Mexico is putting swimmers in danger.

The National Weather Service is warning people that there is a moderate risk of rip currents today along the Panhandle and Big Bend coasts.

Yesterday, Panama City Beach police found three men floating on a Boogie Board.

Lifeguard and rescue swimmers attempted to go in the water, but the conditions were too rough. A nearby jet skier was the only one able to reach the stranded swimmers. Luckily, no one was hurt.
