An Amber Alert was issued across Georgia and the Carolinas today after Terrance McDowell allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend's father and abducted her two young children.
Police say McDowell sexually assaulted his former girlfriend early this morning after forcing his way at gunpoint into her Conley, Georgia, home -- about ten miles south of Atlanta. He then allegedly shot the ex-girlfriend's 64-year-old father in the head and chest before leaving with the children in the woman's car.
