No Major Problems Reported from Wintry Precipitation

UNDATED, Ala. (AP) - A winter weather advisory for higher elevations of northeast Alabama was allowed to expired at 4 a.m. today.

Forecasters said the area some saw a wintry mix of precipitation overnight, but that changed to rain.

Temperatures at 7 a.m. remains well above the freezing mark - ranging from 42 in Mobile to 37 in Huntsville.

According to the Alabama Department of Transportation web site, all major roads are open.
