The father of missing nine-year-old Jessica Lunsford visited the site where authorities are searching for her body today.
Authorities say Mark Lunsford also plans to speak to the media later this morning.
Searchers appear to have been digging a pit behind the former
residence of a registered sex offender who has allegedly admitted
killing Jessica Lunsford.
The Florida nine-year-old disappeared from her bedroom on February 23rd.
Citrus County authorities say John Couey (KOO'-ee) has admitted
abducting and killing Jessica. He's also said to have told authorities where her body could be found.
And sheriff's officials said this morning that four other people are being questioned in connection with the girl's disappearance, but a spokeswoman wouldn't exactly specify what involvement investigators believe they may have to the crime.
An area near the trailer home of Couey's half-sister has been cordoned off. It's about 150 yards from the home Jessica shared with her father and grandparents.
Officials worked through the night and carried away large brown bags from the scene, but it's not clear what they contained.
