A missing Panhandle boater accused of faking his own death in the Gulf of Mexico to escape sex charges is now jailed in Indiana.
Steve Haun of Laguna Beach was hiding in the cab of a semi-truck when he was arrested last Friday near Indianapolis. He is charged with exposing himself to young girls.
Haun was boating with four friends, who reported him missing Oct. 8. That was a day before a scheduled court appearance.
Days later, investigators found a personal watercraft that Haun's former roommate said he had helped anchor in the Gulf before Haun's disappearance.
