A Midland City man accused of taking a young girl from her home in North Alabama faces severe punishment.
Michael Humphrey made his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon in Dale County.
He stood before Judge Kenneth Quattlebaum to formerly hear charges against him.
They include enticing a child by computer, interfering with child custody and three counts of second degree rape.
Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams asked for the maximum $100,000 bond for Humphrey.
The judge granted that request. He’s being held in the Dale County Jail.
