Geneva Drug Raid

Geneva Police are keeping their eyes open on a house on Mulkey Avenue. Wiregrass authorities describe it as a place for drugs and prostitution.

Several of the occupants in the home ran into the woods when officers raided the home Tuesday night

Police have received reports lately of anywhere from 40 to 70 people hanging outside the home at night.

Twenty-two-year-old Calvin Walker, Junior of Milton, Florida was arrested. He’s being charged with possession of marijuana.

Chief Frankie Lindsey of the Geneva Police Department says that is part of the problem.

People from out of town come to Geneva to buy more than just drugs.

Calvin Walker, Junior has been released from jail under a five-hundred dollar bond.

Chief Lindsey says his officers will continue to be responsive to the drug concerns of residents.
