A South Florida man is facing child abuse charges after he used a stun gun on his 14-year-old son.
Investigators in Martin County say 40-year-old Douglas Dycus used the stun gun after becoming frustrated with the boy who was not paying attention to him.
Two burn marks were found on the boy.
Douglas was also charged with domestic battery after a complaint by child welfare authorities.
Douglas has four other complaints against him with D.C.F.
The stun gun he used was not a taser device.
