Police in Georgia say a registered sex offender is the person of interest in last month's disappearance of 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford.
Savannah-Chatham County Police Officials say the man was last seen in Savannah, Georgia.
Sergeant Mike Wilson says the man was found in a Salvation Army shelter. But he says that since there wasn't a warrant for his arrest investigators released him.
Wilson says details were passed onto Citrus authorities. It's not clear if that man is the same person Citrus County officials want to talk to about the missing Homosassa girl.
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office says it will release more details including the man's name, criminal history and photograph at a news conference this afternoon.
