The two candidates for State Board of Education District Two will face each other in a political forum Monday.
Both candidates are from the Wiregrass area. Dr. Charlotte Kirkland Williams from Newton is running on the Democratic ticket while Betty Peters of Dothan is running as a Republican.
The forum is sponsored by the Troy State University Dothan Student Government Association and the Student Teams Advocating Realistic
Solutions, or STARS.
The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Library Technology Building at Sony Hall.
Both candidates will field questions compiled by TSUD faculty. It is free and open to the public.
