A Florida man accused of planting fake bombs in Panama City was arraigned yesterday near Tampa.
41-year-old David Vice was arrested over the weekend.
He’s also suspected of putting envelopes containing a harmless white powder in mailboxes in the St. Petersburg area.
Vice was charged with manufacturing, delivering, or possessing a hoax weapon of mass destruction.
People were evacuated and traffic was disrupted for several hours Saturday while a bomb squad disposed of some fake explosives at a Panama City motel.
