The bodies of two missing Bay County teenagers have been found at a Panama City beach home under construction. Police say they died of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
Fourteen-year-old Ashlyn Pecori and 15-year-old Jeremy Hightower were found on the second floor of the home.
They were first reported missing last week and police conducted a massive search Thursday and Friday for the teens without success.
Police say the teens left behind a series of songs, letters, poems and drawings with dark overtones. But The News Herald of Panama City reports that authorities say there was no clear evidence of a planned death pact.
