Five Arrested in Henry County

A year-old Henry County murder case could be coming to a close.

Friday night, five more arrests were made for the shooting death of 23-year-old Charles Hatfield.

The murder happened a year ago, on March 13 off a dirt road in Henry County.

Just a week after the murder, the Henry County Sheriff's Department arrested their first suspect, 28-year-old James Stuckey of Dothan.

Now, authorities are saying five more people have been arrested and all of them have been charged with capital murder because they allegedly stole an item of jewelry from the victim.

Authorities have mentioned this may be a record number of arrests for a single murder case in the Wiregrass.

The Henry County Sheriff's Department has not yet released the names of the other five suspects. But News 4 we'll keep you updated as we receive more information.
