Panama City Meth Bust

The Bay County Methamphetamine Drug Unit wrapped-up the largest meth bust in Bay County history.

The location of the bust was in the heart of downtown Panama City.

Officers say they found over $850,000 worth of meth oil in the basement of the Panama Java Coffee Shop on Harrison Avenue Wednesday night.

Police say 32-year-old Jeffery Allan Frye was actually cooking meth in the basement.

Frye is being held in the Bay County Jail on a number of charges including possession and trafficking.
