Teen Hospice

Covenant Hospice began a teen volunteer training program.

Sixteen teenagers from Dothan, Northview, Wicksburg and Enterprise High Schools are participating.

They're learning how to take care of people with terminal illness.

One of the program's coordinators said the experience will not only teach teenagers how to deal with those suffering with a terminal illness, but it will give the elderly another view of young people.

If you or anyone you know would like more information about this program, you can contact Covenant Hospice at 794-7847.
