The man who took his own life in a police chase in Dothan has been identified.
Christopher Ellisor robbed and held three victims at gunpoint Tuesday in a mobile home, forcing them inside and then raping one of them.
Ellisor then drove off in the victims white Chevy pick-up truck.
He led deputies and police on a high speed chase after one of the victims called police.
The stolen truck was spotted by a Houston County Sheriff Deputy.
The suspect's tire blew and ran off Prevatt Road near Hidden Lake Elementary School.
Surrounded, Ellisor took his life with a gunshot wound to the head.
Ellisor is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Dothan from Fort Lauderdale.
