The Calhoun County sheriff's office says a murder suspect and the two children he abducted were found early today in Mississippi.
The sheriff's office called off an an Amber Alert for 12-year-old Jonathan Sampson and 17-year-old Loretta Swearingin. Both children were likely abducted by 19-year-old Edkah Marshall.
Deputies say Marshall took the children yesterday after fatally shooting his grandmother. Marshall brought the two children to visit a relative of his in Mississippi.
The sheriff's office says Marshall was taken into custody on undisclosed charges.
Alpha is near the Jackson County line in the Florida Panhandle, about 51 miles west of Tallahassee.
