Justice is finally served at the Coffee County Courthouse Annex for a murder that happened nearly 30 years ago.
Johnny Robertson appeared before Circuit Judge Robert Barr Tuesday and pled guilty to murder and attempted murder.
The crimes took place in November of 1968.
Robertson allegedly killed Kyle Pierson and severely wounded Pierson’s girlfriend, Shirley Ann Reese.
The 61-year-old Robertson received life for the murder and 20-years for attempted murder.
He’s currently serving time for murders in Michigan and Georgia. He's expected to be arraigned on a separate murder charge in Tallahassee, Florida.
