A former substitute teacher is in trouble for allegedly touching several of his students improperly.
Terry Wright of Prattville is charged with eight counts of sexual abuse, one count of possessing obscene matter involving a person under 17 and three misdemeanor counts of harassment.
Wright surrendered Tuesday and was released on bonds totaling $20,000.
The 2004 incident allegedly occurred at Prattville Elementary.
Wright was removed from the substitute list after the allegations were made public.
