Some horrific moments happened in North Lauderdale Thursday.
A newborn baby boy was tossed from a car and onto the street, but miraculously survived.
As the car sped off, a woman passing by the scene rescued the infant.
The Good Samaritan dropped the boy off at the nearby sheriff’s office, where he was then airlifted to the hospital.
A search is underway for two eyewitnesses that may have some information.
Police say the baby is in stable condition at a Florida hospital.
Doctors believe the boy may have been born as recently as Thursday morning.
