The family of the little girl who was attacked by dogs in Geneva County last month say she underwent more surgery.

The procedure was to move an arterial line that allows medical staff to administer multiple medications intravenously.

She previously underwent surgery to repair her neck wound and arm wounds.

9-year-old Mariah Carver was mauled by five bull dogs, the dogs belonged to a neighbor.

Mariah wasn't found by her family until two and a half hours after she was attacked.

Mariah underwent seven surgeries over the last couple of weeks.

Doctors say at a minimum, she has another 16 hours of surgery to go.

Donations will be accepted for Mariah at a blood drive this weekend.

LifeSouth blood center will conduct a blood drive on Sunday, December 16th, from noon-3 pm at Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, in Dothan.

The family asks that the public pray for Mariah to have strength and the ability to fight off infection.
