Sniper Update

A police source told the New York Times that investigators have enough information from the last sniper attack in Virginia to attempt a composite drawing of the killer.

The Times reports that the gunman was inside a parking garage as Linda Franklin was loading packages into her car outside a Home Depot in Virginia. Sources tell the Times he fired at Franklin from 90 feet away. She died of a gunshot wound to the head.

The Washington Post reported that at least one witness saw a male sniper aim and fire, and then flee in a van.

A Virginia police chief said he feels confident that the data gathered at this 13th shooting will lead to an arrest.
