Reward for Information

Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman is offering a $5,000 reward for information about the murder of a Geneva County man.

On Aug. 9, 80-year-old Rubin Spicer was found beaten to death at his home on Main Street in Samson. Police said the information collected indicates the incident took place during a robbery.

Anyone with information regarding this murder is asked to contact the Samson Police Department at 334-898-7118.
